Information Concerning VISAS

 Reception of Consular Documents: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday.

Delivery of Consular Documents: 10.00 a.m. to 4 p.m.,Monday through Friday.  Minimum 48 working hours required for processing visa, once all required documents are submitted.  REQUIREMENTS TO SUBMIT FOR A VISA TO ENTER ARGENTINA, IN STRICT ACCORDANCE TO:  
1- ARGENTINE LAW ON MIGRATIONS N° 25.871, IN EFFECT SINCE 5TH JULY 2010  
2- NATIONAL DECREE N° 616 DATED 3RD MAY 2010  
3- DISPOSITION N° 54.618/2008 OF THE NATIONAL DIRECTION OF MIGRATIONS DATED 29TH JULY 2008  
  1. Application must be signed by the applicant and submitted in person or through authorized representative duly identified, and NOT by post. Authorization letter must be given by holder of the passport.
  2.  Passport should be valid for at least 6 (six) months longer than your intended period of stay in Argentina.
  3.  A separate application is required for each traveler, regardless of age, or if more than one person is included in the same passport.
  4.  One recent passport size photograph must be pasted on the application form.
  5.  Ticket Reservation: Copy of the airline flight roundtrip ticket reservation (Airline copy). One way tickets will not be accepted, unless for Seafarers
  6.  A letter explaining the purpose and day to day program itinerary of your trip and hotel confirmation accordingly. If you are self-employed or a student or an applicant of any other category, a letter explaining the reasons for your visit to Argentina as well as concise program of your planned trip.
  7.  Copy of credit card (international), bank statement for the last six months (with telephone and contact person of the bank printed) or any other document showing evidence of your resources while abroad.
  8.  Tourist visa holders will not be permitted to work in Argentina.
  9.  For obtaining Tourist Visa: Certificate of Employment and/or Property deed in the applicant’s name.
  10.  Business Visa:
    1. Recommendation letter from the Chamber of Commerce.
    2. Letter from the company for which he/she is working.                
    3. Original invitation from Argentina (Notarized)
  11.  Any person or institution inviting someone to come to Argentina other than for tourism purposes or seamen, must be registered at the RENURE (Registro Nacional Único de Requirentes Extranjeros) at Migration Office (DNM) in Argentina, without which the invitation is not valid. The person signing the invitation must be the same one whose signature is registered at the RENURE.
  12.  Tourist, Transit and Business visas are free of cost for Indian Nationals.
  13.  Personal presentation at the Embassy for personal interview is mandatory for all applicants.
